- I’m having a really hard time sticking to program this week. I’m not sure if it’s motivation or if it’s because “that time of the month” is coming up, but my cravings for high-fat foods and sugar have been terrible this week.
Chicken sausage (3 Points) with sauerkraut
- I got a call at five o’clock this afternoon regarding something I’ve been waiting a while to find out about (which I’ll hopefully be writing about on my main blog soon), and that put me in the mood to celebrate—with food. But as Ruth reminded me, there are better ways to celebrate than by eating stuff that will set me back in the progress I’ve made so far with my weight, so I readjusted my feelings and made up my mind what I was going to order at supper tonight.
Fajita Trio—steak, chicken, and shrimp. I used only about 1/4 of the guacamole (which, depending on how it’s made, can be a core food), but I pretty much just ate the meat, peppers, and onions.
- I didn’t even open the menu, so I wasn’t tempted by any of the pictures inside, especially those of the desserts, which are my main downfall. Plus, it was wonderful to have someone to share dinner with (the newest member of MTCW, Shannon), especially since I was in a celebratory mood. It made me remember (especially since I told her I was doing WW) that I can’t just throw everything I know about eating both well and healthily just because something good has happened to me.
